IAROD, officially created in 2024 on the initiative of parents of patients for patients, implements actions to
COMBAT DIAGNOSTIC ERRORS AND IMPASSES.
- Specializing in rare ophthalmic diseases, IAROD advocates for the importance of early and accurate diagnosis.
- IAROD collaborates with various French and international databases using AI to obtain high-quality scientific results through public-private collaborative projects.

Support and solidarity:
Supporting and standing in solidarity with patients suffering from rare ophthalmic diseases through personalized care, meetings, and training.
Working for public health:
Using AI and health data to help improve patient care pathways and quality of life, and reduce diagnostic uncertainty and dead ends for rare ophthalmic diseases.
Public/private collaboration and patient associations:
Each project is co-constructed in order to bring together the expertise of the various players in the rare disease ecosystem.
Research protocols, methodologies, and analysis of results are validated by a scientific advisory board.
The results will be made public and accessible to all.
